jay gammill WRITER + DIRECTOR
Jay Gammill is a recent graduate of the MFA Production program at the USC School of Cinematic Arts. Originally from Shreveport, Louisiana, Jay received his undergraduate degree in Telecommunications from Baylor University, where he is a two-time winner of the Baylor Black Glasses Film Festival for his short films Hermosa and The Red String. Jay's professional interests range from motion graphics and editing to his true love of directing actors. He recently co-edited the award-winning USC documentary Back to Life and thesis film My Father's Chinese Wife. He has also edited for "E! True Hollywood Story" as well as broadcast commercials for MGA Entertainment, Inc. and recent independent feature Hello, My Name is Charlie. Currently, Jay is fundraising to produce the feature script of August. |

Allison Schroeder graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Economics and Film. At Stanford, she actively worked within the theater department as a writer and choreographer. She also spent time at Oxford University studying film where she received top honors for her script Indigo Room. She is now currently pursuing her MFA in Production at the USC. She's worked at Warner Bros. for the producers of such films as Cinderella Story and at Lions Gate Films as a publicity intern. |

Zak Mechanic grew up in Texas before receiving his BA in creative writing from USC. He decided to never leave the university. In the midst of pursuing his MFA in production at USC, he recently completed work on Bootyful World, a documentary exploring the cultural ramifications of contemporary beauty standards. He is also developing several truly fantastic projects to direct and produce. |

vero shamo-garcia PRODUCER
Originally from Ecuador, Veronica "Vero" Shamo-Garcia came to the United States to follow her dream of becoming a filmmaker. While pursuing her Bachelor's Degree, Vero directed the award-winning El Momento de Amar, a one hour Spanish Novela (soap opera). Vero has also won awards from the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the Director's Guild of America honorable mention for Latino Filmmaker in 2005 with her short film De las Calles. She is also an MFA student at USC and recently completed post-production for her thesis film Limpiando Sapos.

matt egan DIRECTOR OF PHOTOGRAPHY
Matt Egan majored in film at the University of Texas at Austin before moving to Los Angeles to continue his film education at USC by pursuing his MFA in cinematography. In addition to school, Matt has worked on numerous films including The Alamo and Serenity. When he's not busy on set Matt is an avid portrait and fashion photographer.

john samuel hanson COMPOSER
After graduating with a BA in music composition, John worked for composer Klaus Badelt as a sound programmer and score assistant on Constantine, Ultraviolet, The Promise, 16 Blocks, and Poseidon. Recently John worked on Blind Dating, Illegal Tender, and Suburban Girl as a score and sound programmer with Heitor Pereira, while helping score scenes from Pulse and The Death's of Ian with Elia Cmiral. In September 2005, John scored an independent full-length feature, 2 Young 2 Fight.

franklin peterson EDITOR
Franklin Peterson was born and raised in New Orleans and has been editing and learning about movies for over a decade. He's edited over a dozen short films which have screened all over the country at a dozens of film festivals. Clothes Lined was runner up for the Flicker film festival in 2003 and received the best editing award at Cinematexas. At USC he's edited several advanced projects and has worked as a teaching assistant for the editing track. |

After graduating top of his class from the Los Angeles Recording Workshop, Christian began his career as the in-house mixing and mastering engineer at Moonshine Music, and since founding The Engine Room in 2004, Christian has mastered many tracks, albums and films, including the Super Size Me and R Generation film soundtracks. Current credits include LTN, Rhino Records, Steve Aoki, Kinky Sweet Recordings, King Street Sounds, Swank Recordings, DustTrax Records and Mo-Phonics Studios. |

rd white SOUND DESIGN
RD White has been an electronic musician and DJ for more than 10 years. His talents have been commissioned to create sample loop libraries for Sony Pictures, sculpt audio and craft neumatics for "Musikvernugen" and compose electronic beat structures for film composer Hans Zimmer's company, Media Ventures. In addition, RD is the owner of globally distributed electronic music label "Designed Disorder." RD continues to dj while heading up sound design for many film and television projects at The Engine Room. |

mike risha SOUND EDITOR + DIALOGUE EDITOR
Mike Risha began his music career in audio production seven years ago as a hip-hop dj, and while attending the Los Angeles Recording Workshop, he accepted an internship with Christian Dwiggins at Moonshine Music, soon becoming the studio manager/personal assistant for artist DJ Dan. During the last year and half, Mike has continued on to edit sound for films and produce several house tracks, one of which was recently signed by Swank Recordings. |

stephanie luciano-smith EXECUTIVE PRODUCER FOR THE ENGINE ROOM
Prior to joining The Engine Room, Stephanie ran the boutique DJ/Hip-Hop booking agency 'Til Dawn Entertainment and soon teamed with The Agency Group to expand her client roster to include such artists as Something For Rockets, Telepopmusik, and D:Fuse. In 2005, she signed Chicago-based DJ Heather, as well as hip-hop sensations Brevi and Leggo. As director of The Engine Room, Stephanie manages and supervises marketing, sales, scheduling of all client relations. |
